Doctor
Kathryn L Gorski , D.V.M. Dr. Kathryn Gorski received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1996 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation Dr. Gorski worked for two years as an associate veterinarian in a large progressive animal hospital outside of Boston. In 1997 Dr. Gorski, along with Dr. Warendorf, purchased the Old Derby Animal Clinic. Dr. Gorski especially enjoys internal medicine, dentistry, senior care and working with pocket pets.
Dr. Gorski and her family reside with their dogs Jib and newly acquired Skiff, three felines (Harold, Pretty Baby, and Scupper) and their hamster Thomas. In her spare time Dr. Gorski enjoys gardening, cooking and sailing.

Susan T Floyd , V.M.D.

Dr. Susan Floyd received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Washington University in St Louis in 1987. In 1992 she received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Since then Dr. Floyd has practiced in a Feline practice for six years in Connecticut and now has been practicing Feline and Canine medicine in Massachusetts for five years. Dr. Floyd's professional interests include surgery, Penn-Hip evaluations and feline medicine. Her hobbies include canine obedience competition with her German Shepherd, Otto; confirmation showing with her Smooth Coated Collie, Willie; and gardening. Dr. Floyd has welcomed another pet to her clan - a handsome German Shepherd, Trott and Norman and Eddie are her two cats.

Nicholas H Warendorf , D.V.M. After Graduating from Middlebury College in 1991 with a B.A. in Biology, Dr. Nicholas Warendorf worked for one year on the overnight service at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. Dr. Warendorf received his veterinary degree in 1996 from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he worked for two years as an associate veterinarian at a busy animal hospital in Brookline. Dr. Warendorf's professional interests, along with colleague Dr. Gorski's, soon focused on the development and growth of Old Derby Animal Clinic, where they have been ever since!
Dr. Warendorf's interests as a veterinarian include: gastro-intestinal diseases, endocrine diseases, lameness evaluations, dermatology as well as ferret medicine and surgery. Most of all, he enjoys developing strong relationships with his clients and their companions through education and caring.
A resident of the south shore, Dr. Warendorf's hobbies include playing tennis, working in the yard, following professional baseball and kayaking on the North River. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Kiersten, their two beautiful children; Jack and Lily, and their Shih Tzu, Cassie!

Jennifer J Johnson , D.V.M. Dr. Jennifer Johnson graduated from Bates College with a B.S. in Biology in 1988. She worked as a research technician in a calcium and bone metabolism laboratory and spent time traveling before attending Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM with thesis in 1995 and then completed a one year internship in emergency medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in 1996
Dr. Johnson spent the next eight years working as an associate and/or relief veterinarian in New Jersey and at several local Massachusetts veterinary hospitals. She is excited to be at Old Derby Animal Clinic.
Dr. Johnson's professional interests and experiences involve small animal medicine and surgery. She also retains an interest in wildlife medicine and conservation, and has spent time working on research projects in Australia and Central Africa.
Dr. Johnson's family includes her Border Collie, Cleo and two cats Penny and Patches. She enjoys running, drawing, gardening, and travel.

Rev L. Munson , D.V.M. |
Dr. Munson grew up in the Rochester area of New York State. Both grandparents were farmers and it was the experience of caring for the farm animals that stimulated the interest in becoming a veterinarian. He attended Cornell University and graduated with a B.S from the College of Agriculture and a DVM from NYS College of Veterinary Medicine, fulfilling a dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Upon graduation he worked for a large and small animal practice in Bantam, CT. Then he worked at a small animal practice on Long Island and developed an equine practice. After a few years he moved to Oxford, CT and developed a small animal practice.
Dr. Munson’s life has been blessed. He married his high school sweetheart, Penny while at Cornell and they had two sons. Michael and his wife, Crystal live in Duxbury, MA and have two daughters, Emilie and Lucy. Paul and his wife Sue live in Cohasset, MA and have a son Zachary. The Munson’s recently moved to Cohasset, MA to be close to the family.

Nancy
Nancy started at Old Derby as Practice Manager in March 2007. She started her career in Corporate America but always knew she wanted to be involved in an animal related field. She left Corporate America in 2002 and started a dog walking and pet sitting company called South Shore Pet Nannies that serviced Southern, MA. Nancy developed a close networking relationship with Old Derby through her many years of owning SSPN. Due to family circumstances, she sold SSPN at the end of 2006. After helping family for many months, she then happily joined Old Derby’s staff in March 2007. Nancy is thrilled to be back in an animal related field and missed it terribly while she was away! Nancy is the proud owner of 2 dogs, Holly & Murphy and 4 cats; Clarence, Lenny, Chou-Chou and Princess. |  View |
Beth
Beth received her B.A. in English/Speech Communications from Boston College in 1984. She worked with several large retail organizations in management, buying and sales/merchandising before becoming a full time Mom to her three boys in Hingham. Before joining the team at Old Derby as Office Manager, she worked as a professional pet sitter and dog walker specializing in playgroups for larger dogs. She is loved by two yellow labs named Cody and Ollie. They have confirmed her belief that all boys have better manners when they eat right, get plenty of exercise and listen to their mother. She enjoys long walks with her dogs, reading and being with her family.

Technician
Monica Monica started as a technician at Old Derby Animal Clinic in 1986 after receiving her associates degree in Animal Science from Becker College. Monica's current pet is a mixed breed, with an attitude, named Java. She also has adopted a three legged cat named Spike. Monica's favorite part of her position at Old Derby is educating clients on how to best care for their pets. She also has a large interest in pet behavior. Monica feels that helping pets fit into the household is a very important part of making a great bond. |  View |
Carrie In 1986 Carrie started at Old Derby as a kennel attendant; through the years along with training she became head surgical/dental technician. Carrie spent 3 years at Mt. Ida College where she took veterinary technician classes and has enjoyed continuing her education while working full time. Carrie's special pet interests include: senior care, dentistry, puppy care, and weight control. She has three Shih Tzus: Ying-Su, Kai-Ling, and Tai. Carrie also cares for a three-legged cat, Captain Jack. Some of her time is spent in fostering pets until they are placed in excellent homes. Carrie loves what she does and finds great satisfaction in working with animals. |  View |
Lynn Lynn has worked at Old Derby since 1985. She started as a kennel attendant and has progressed to technician, book keeper, and inventory/new product coordinator. Lynn has three Shih Tzus: Peaches, Charlotte and Puck. The newest member of the family, Pia is a beautiful French Bulldog. Over the years she has taken foster animals into her home and has placed them with loving families. Lynn has special interests in animal behavior and training. Lynn also enjoys balancing her role as a mother and technician while expanding her knowledge of animal care. |  View |
Kirsten Kirsten is one of the surgical/dental technicians at Old Derby Animal Clinic. She has been at Old Derby since 2001 and recently passed the technicians certification exam. Kirsten still has some courses to complete before she is certified, but hopes to complete them soon. At home Kirsten has eight of her own cats: Cosmo, Lt Dan, Lily, Billy, Beauty, Kasha, Cruz, and Dizzy. She also has a dog named Hops and two fish. Along with her employment at Old Derby Animal Clinic, Kirsten works with the St. Croix Connection and other rescue organizations in an effort to bring together abandoned or orphaned pets with caring people in loving homes. |  View |
Lydia Lydia has been working at Old Derby Animal Clinic since 2003 as a veterinary technician. She has four awesome cats at home:Tsunami, Gage, Gale, and Lightning. She also cares for six ducks and a horse named Jynci. Lydia adopted a Shetland Sheepdog named Indy and is enjoying her first dog. Lydia is looking forward to achieving her technician certification and also becoming certified as a wildlife rehabilitator. Animal health care, public education, and recycling are Lydia's priorities as a technician at Old Derby Animal Clinic. |  View |
Sheila , CVT Sheila joined Old Derby Animal Clinic in March 2005. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 25 years. Her experiences include working at a five doctor practice in Weston, Massachusetts for twenty years and a 24-Hour emergency hospital on the south shore for five years. Currently Sheila owns three cats; one eyed George, Jane with spinal trauma, and Black Jack, a senior feline. She has recently adopted a new Siamese, Foster and a St Croix dog, Sadie!! Sheila loves taking in homeless cats ready to queen and baby orphaned kittens who need bottle feedings. She has raised many kittens over the years. Sheila's interests are in animal behavior. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician who enjoys attending continuing education annual seminars. When not working with animals, Sheila keeps very busy raising her three children in Quincy. |  View |
Becca Rebecca just joined Old Derby Animal Clinic in September 2006 as a
veterinary technician. Her experiences include working in New
Hampshire for two veterinary practices, one which was an equine
practice. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from
Franklin Pierce College in 2004. Rebecca currently owns a herd of
animals including six horses (Dundee, Kandy, Chance Encounter, Clover's
Royal Flush, Jeb, and Stork), shares eight cats with her family (Ilta,
Lilly, Cally, Jingles, Gavin, Tigger, Honey, and Jacob), four dogs
(Blue, Monroe, Hershey, and Guiness), two ferrets (Mandy and Nikki), a
rabbit (Lili), and a hamster named Spaz. Rebecca is interested in
radiology, internal medicine, and surgery, but her main goal is to
become an equine veterinarian. She is currently seeking to get into

Elizabeth joined the Old Derby staff in July 2007 as a veterinary technician. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003 and a Masters of Science degree in geology from the University of Michigan in 2005. Elizabeth has worked at many animal rescue organizations and veterinary hospitals during her education and is excited about continuing to work with animals at Old Derby. In addition, Elizabeth teaches geology and biology courses at Massasoit Community College as an adjunct faculty member. She lives in Quincy with her husband and 5 rescues: hound dogs Bryce and Daisy, and cats Gus, Finnian, and Elflin. |

Reception
Sandra Born and bred in Scotland, Sandra joined the staff of Old Derby in June, 2005. She spent a major part of her working life in real estate, but has fitted in well with her genuine love of animals and sunny disposition. Sandra is proud mum to Kramer, a rescued Great Dane Mix whom she loves to walk with! She recently adopted a new hound mix puppy named L.B. Kramer and L.B. are becoming fast friends! Travel and crafting are her hobbies. |  View |
Lauren Lauren comes from a legal working background and she is currently a graduate student at Suffolk University in Boston. She lives in Norwell with her family, her two cats Katie and Lilly, and her new puppy, Lulu. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, reading, and photography. Lauren is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to learning more about the veterinary profession! |  View |
Nicole Nicole is an energetic, motivated and caring pet and people person! She comes to us from the restaurant industry where she has spent the past eleven years sharing her love for life, laughter, and great food with people from all over the world. She recently adopted 2 new kittens, Sid and Sandy and she is a proud "Auntie" to Max, a Beagle, Bailey, a Basset Hound,and Dakota, a Boxer. |  View |
Ashley Ashley comes to us from a legal working background. She joined the staff in May of 2006 and is very excited to have the chance to work closely with both animals and people. Ashley lives at home with her boyfriend and her Siamese cat Mocha and is hoping to adopt a new puppy soon. In her spare time, she enjoys paintball (which she has played professionally), fishing, and spending time with family and friends!! |  View |
Debbie Debbie joined our staff as a receptionist in May 2006. She comes to us with a varied background including cosmetology and construction. She has spent the last 8 years running her husband's welding and fabrication business. She is also the mother of 3 wonderful children and 2 cats, Princess Flo and Cookie. She recently acquired a German Sheperd puppy whom she names Zena. |  View |
Kennel
Jean As one of the new members of the Old Derby Staff, Jean will be caring for your pets who will be boarding in the kennel. Jean started her own successful pet sitting business about five years ago and is now enjoying the time she spends at Old Derby Animal Clinic as well. Jean started caring for animals in an organized fashion twelve years ago by volunteering at the Scituate Animal Shelter, where she earned the Volunteer of the Year award in 1999. She volunteered at the Scituate Animal Shelter for about nine and a half years before starting a rescue organization with Old Derby surgical technician, Kirsten and a few other friends, called St Croix Connection Puppy Rescue. Through these organizations, Jean has fostered and found loving homes for almost fifty cats and kittens and twenty dogs and puppies. She enjoys spending time with her amazing Border Collie, Oreo and her new dog, an Australian Sheperd named Kaleigh. She also has seven very lovable cats: Rajah, Shelby, Tiramisu, Karma, Olive, Ricky Bobby and Cal. |  View |
Diane Diane moved to Massachusetts from Florida in January 2006. She lived in Florida for 25 years where she volunteered for 12 of those at Greyhound Rescue. She had 3 greyhounds who unfortunately all passed away this year. She now lives in Weymouth with her 2 cats. She also has 1 daughter who lives in Hingham, a son who lives in Chapel Hill and 4 grandchildren. Diane is also presently volunteering at Father Bill's feeding program and Habitat for Humanity. |  View |
